Cargo Manager

As a Trade Lane Manager for South Africa - India, your role involves expanding and further developing the core business of the company, with a focus on the responsible South Africa India Trade Lane. Key responsibilities include: - Developing the South Africa Trade Lane through locally generated sales and maintaining existing accounts. - Working on all Air/Ocean products and logistics solutions, acquiring new business, and expanding existing business within the corporate strategy. - Building a trust-based cooperation between India - South Africa Trade Lane for import/export movements. - Facilitating knowledge transfer for the assigned trade lane within the organization. - Independently organizing and implementing sales trips and marketing campaigns between India & South Africa. - Conducting regular reviews with the South Africa Trade Lane partner to ensure continuous growth. - Analyzing the market and monitoring competitors to derive profitable measures. - Identifying market and product trends to implement customer-centric measures. - Leading the execution of RFQ's and supporting product, tender, & operations. - Initiating and leading the Continuous Improvement Process internally and externally. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience. - Minimum 8 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding/Logistics industry. - Strong knowledge of air and ocean products with working experience in air & ocean operations. - Fluency in English language, both verbal and written.
