What role you will play in our team

This role provides both administrative and technical support to the Global Security team, with a strong emphasis on executing the Digital Strategy. The Security Support Analyst will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of databases and visualization tools using platforms such as SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI. The role ensures seamless integration across multiple data sources and supports access management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination. Additional responsibilities include maintaining SharePoint sites, automating workflows with Nintex, and driving process improvements to enhance operational efficiency across global security functions. Significant interaction is expected with BL management, Security Experts and Senior Safety, Security, Health & Environment (SSHE) Leadership.  This position is designed to further develop analytical skills and enhance the continued development of SSHE leadership.

What you will do

Data & Visualization Support

• Design, maintain, and enhance Global Security databases and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure seamless integration across multiple data sources using SQL and Snowflake to enable comprehensive analysis and reporting.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all implemented IT solutions to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity.

Reporting & Data Quality

• Act as the primary contact for data entry and quality assurance across security assessments and incident reporting through reporting platforms.
• Proactively engage with Security and business contacts to ensure accurate stewardship and timely updates of security data across reporting platforms.
• Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to support Security Reviews and identify actionable trends.
• Collaborate with Reporting and Stewardship teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance with ExxonMobil Security Incident Reporting guidelines.
• Prepare Monthly Investigation Tracking (MIT) presentations for Security Managers to support oversight and accountability.
• Coordinate and update travel advisories in real time, based on guidance from the Security Intelligence Team.

Administrative & Stakeholder Support

• Maintain and organize Global Security SharePoint sites to ensure content relevance and accessibility.
• Coordinate the distribution of newsletters and internal communications
• Engage effectively with global and site-level stakeholders to support alignment and responsiveness.

IT & Access Controls

• Execute IT controls responsibilities, including quarterly access reviews and compliance reporting.
• Manage incoming and outgoing IT access requests to ensure timely and secure processing.
• Serve as the primary liaison for IT controls within the Global Security team, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

Process Improvement & Tool Development

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and propose scalable, effective solutions.
• Support the development of productivity and visualization tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to incorporate best practices into tool design and deployment.
• Maintain and enhance existing tools through regular updates, user feedback integration, and alignment with evolving security needs.

About you

Preferred knowledge, skills & abilities

• 5+ years of business and operations knowledge/experience
• Strong analytical and technical aptitude, with attention to detail and data integrity.
• Proficiency in 

  SQL

   and experience working with 

  Snowflake

   for data querying, integration, and management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Power Point and Excel)
• Experience in 

  database design

  , optimization, and maintenance.
• Advanced skills in 

  Power BI

   for data visualization and dashboard development.
• Working knowledge of 

  SharePoint

   for site management, content organization, and access controls.
• Familiarity with 

  Nintex

   for workflow automation and process improvement.
• Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of IT controls, access management processes, and enterprise data governance standards.
• Proficiency in safety management software and tools
• Excellent communication skills
