Career Counselor (Head)

Role Overview: As a member of the Career Guidance Center (CGC) team, your main objective is to assist students in making well-informed decisions about their career paths. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with both students and parents from grade IX to XII, providing guidance on career choices that align with their interests, abilities, and background. Additionally, you will be tasked with organizing and facilitating various CGC-related activities and events to support students in their career exploration journey. Key Responsibilities: - Interact regularly with students and parents from Grade IX to XII, conducting one-on-one sessions to understand their career aspirations and provide guidance. - Observe students in class throughout the academic year and maintain individual records of observations. - Collaborate with professionals and experts across different fields to organize career talks and workshops for students. - Compile and share timely data and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports with the CGC core office. - Facilitate summer internships for each student in grade XI to gain practical experience. - Support grade XI and XII students in preparing mock Statement of Purpose (SOP) and mock SAT exams to enhance their college application readiness. - Conduct career assessments for students and analyze the data on a student-by-student basis. - Build relationships with college and university counselors to stay informed about admission processes and academic opportunities. - Participate in career workshops, events, and stay updated on the latest career trends to better guide students in their career exploration journey.,
