Role & responsibilities Bench Sales Marketing: Utilize a variety of sales plans and marketing strategies (cold calling, emails, networking) to promote consultants and secure placements. Work closely with recruiters to understand the skill sets, work preferences, and career goals of consultants to ensure successful job matches. Sales Strategy & Plan Execution: Implement various sales plans tailored to different client needs. Analyse candidate needs and recommend the best sales plans that align with their skills and experience. Generate leads through a combination of cold outreach, vendor relationships, and networking to build a consistent sales pipeline. Client & Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, prime vendors, and staffing agencies to generate job opportunities for bench consultants. Manage end-to-end client relationships from the initial sales pitch to contract negotiations and placement follow-up. Negotiate consultant rates, contract terms, and other employment conditions with clients and vendors to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Sales Reporting & Market Research: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline opportunities, and placement data using CRM tools. Monitor market trends, client feedback, and industry developments to refine sales strategies and stay competitive in the staffing market. Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, lead generation, and placement metrics. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by expanding the client base and deepening relationships with existing clients. Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create compelling sales proposals and presentations. Stay updated on the latest IT trends, technologies, and roles to effectively market consultants and meet client demands. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) but not required. Experience: Minimum of 3-4+ years of sales experience, with a focus on bench sales , staffing, or recruitment. Experience in selling various sales plans . Proven track record of achieving sales targets, securing candidates placements. Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to sell consultants' skills and value to clients. Ability to manage multiple sales cycles and work on several client engagements simultaneously. Strong understanding of IT staffing and recruitment processes, including knowledge of various technology stacks and job roles. Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales pipeline and client interactions. Technical Skills: Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM tools to manage candidate and client data. Preferred Attributes: Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Self-motivated and proactive approach to sales, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. A good understanding of immigration and visa regulations related to OPT, STEM OPT, and H1-B workers (preferred). Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary with commission-based incentives.
