Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnosis Assessment:

    Conduct physical exams, interpret test results (ECGs, cardiac catheterization), and diagnose cardiovascular conditions.

  • Treatment Planning:

    Develop personalized plans using medications, lifestyle changes (diet, exercise), and recommend surgical referrals when needed.

  • Patient Care:

    Manage chronic issues like hypertension, high cholesterol, and heart failure; provide acute care for heart attacks and emergencies.

  • Prevention:

    Educate patients on heart health, risk factors, and preventative measures.

  • Record Keeping:

    Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

  • Collaboration:

    Work with nurses, surgeons, and other specialists in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Continuous Learning:

    Stay updated on new therapies and advances in cardiology.
Skill Required
Required Skills Qualifications

  • Education:

    Medical degree (MD/DO), residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a cardiology fellowship.

  • Certification:

    Board certification in Cardiology.

  • Knowledge:

    Expertise in cardiovascular anatomy, biology, diseases, and treatment protocols.

  • Technical Skills:

    Ability to operate diagnostic equipment (EKG, imaging).

  • Soft Skills:

    Strong listening, communication, problem-solving, and empathy.

  • Availability:

    May involve long hours, nights, weekends, and on-call duties.
