Cardiac Technician

Job Summary:

The Cardiac Technician will be responsible for conducting diagnostic tests and assisting in procedures related to cardiac care. The role involves operating and maintaining cardiac diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, recording test results, and supporting cardiologists in delivering quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist in cardiac diagnostic procedures such as ECG, TMT, Holter Monitoring, Stress Tests, and Echocardiography (if trained).
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic tests ensuring comfort and safety.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and promptly report abnormalities to the physician.
• Maintain and calibrate cardiac diagnostic equipment.
• Record, analyze, and maintain accurate test reports.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols in all procedures.
• Assist cardiologists and nursing staff during cardiac emergencies when required.
• Educate patients about procedures and provide after-test care instructions.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient data and adhere to hospital/clinic policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / B.Sc. in Cardiac Care Technology or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Cardiac Technician is preferred (fresher with training may be considered).
• Knowledge of cardiac diagnostic equipment and procedures.
• Good communication and patient-handling skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹550,000.00 per year
