Job Summary: - The Restaurant Assistant Trainee Captain is a vital leadership position in a fine dining restaurant, responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and effective team management. Acting as the main point of contact between guests and the restaurant staff, the Restaurant Assistant Trainee Captain oversees the dining room operations, coordinates service staff, and maintains the highest standards of food and beverage service. With a deep understanding of the menu and wine pairings, the Restaurant Assistant Trainee Captain enhances the dining experience by providing knowledgeable recommendations and addressing guest needs. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a commitment to delivering a memorable fine dining experience.

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
• Oversee and coordinate the front-of-house staff, ensuring smooth and efficient service during all meal periods.
• Assign tasks to servers and support staff, monitoring service flow and adjusting as necessary to maintain high standards.
• Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in service techniques, presentation, and hospitality.
• Able to answer any questions regarding menu and assist with menu selections.
• Able to anticipate any unexpected guest need and reacts promptly and tactfully.
• Always applies service techniques correctly at all times, and serving Food & Beverage items with enthusiasm.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on menu items and service standards, ensuring all team members are knowledgeable and confident.
• Monitor food and beverage presentation and quality, ensuring that all dishes served meet the restaurants standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to address any issues related to food quality or guest satisfaction.
• Oversee the care and maintenance of the restaurant's infrastructure.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in the dining area, including cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Conduct regular checks to maintain the safety and comfort of the dining environment.
