The Capacity Planner/Invoicing role is responsible for forecasting resource needs, managing invoicing workflows, tracking utilization, and aligning capacity with operational goals. This role ensures that mapping operations are adequately staffed and that invoicing is accurate, timely, and aligned with contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across operations, finance, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities

Capacity Planning and Forecasting

- Analyze historical data and operational trends to forecast future resource requirements.

- Collaborate with operations and project managers to align staffing plans with project timelines.

- Monitor capacity utilization and recommend adjustments to optimize efficiency.

Invoicing and Financial Tracking

- Manage end-to-end invoicing workflows, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.

- Track billable hours, resource allocations, and project deliverables for invoicing purposes.

- Coordinate with finance teams to reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies.

Operational Alignment

- Ensure capacity plans align with operational goals and SLAs.

- Provide regular reports on capacity utilization, forecast accuracy, and invoicing status.

- Support audits and reviews by maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for capacity and invoicing planning.

- Communicate updates and risks to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience

2+ years of experience in capacity planning, workforce management, or financial operations, preferably in a technology or mapping environment.

Skills

- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.

- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools.

- Familiarity with invoicing systems and financial reconciliation processes.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
