Job Description

Oversee day-to-day operations of the canteen, ensuring smooth food service and cleanliness.
Manage and supervise canteen staff, including cooks, servers, and cleaners.
Plan and monitor daily menus in coordination with management and caterers.
Maintain hygiene, food safety, and quality standards as per company and FSSAI norms.
Handle vendor management purchasing raw materials, negotiating prices, and maintaining supplier relations.
Monitor and control inventory of groceries, vegetables, and kitchen supplies.
Prepare daily consumption and sales reports; ensure timely billing and cash handling.
Ensure canteen premises, kitchen, and dining area are clean and well-maintained.
Maintain records of staff attendance, stock usage, and waste management.
Coordinate with HR/Admin department for employee feedback and continuous improvement.
Implement cost-control measures to minimize wastage and reduce operational expenses.
