Canteen Assistant

As a Canteen Assistant, your role will involve supporting daily operations in the canteen to ensure a positive dining experience for customers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, snacks, and beverages. - Safely operating kitchen equipment such as ovens and coffee machines. - Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas. - Replenishing food and drink supplies as needed. - Handling basic cash transactions. - Following food safety and hygiene regulations. - Supporting stock control and reporting shortages to the supervisor. - Assisting with washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and emptying waste bins. - Providing friendly and efficient customer service at all times. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is an advantage. - Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety is necessary.
