About the Role:

Senior QuickBooks Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple Canadian clients using QuickBooks Online & Desktop.
• Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations with accuracy.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes.
• Process Canadian payroll (mandatory).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain well-organized and compliant financial records in line with Canadian accounting guidelines.
• Handle

  Canada taxation

  including preparation, filing, and compliance with CRA requirements (mandatory).
• Communicate directly with Canadian clients to resolve queries and ensure account accuracy.
• Lead, mentor, and support junior accounting team members (preferred).
• Recommend improvements to workflow and accounting processes.

Required Skills:

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in QuickBooks (Online & Desktop).
• Strong exposure to Canadian accounting systems and

  taxation

  (mandatory).
• Sound knowledge of payroll, reconciliations, and compliance rules in Canada.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and deadline-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients.
• Team-leading or mentoring experience is an advantage.
