CAM Software Application Engineer

You will be responsible for training and supporting customers in toolpath creation, process optimization, and tool selection, ensuring high-quality and efficient machining solutions. This role involves working closely with customers to resolve their technical challenges, assist with installations, and enhance their productivity with Edgecam Software.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide training and technical support to customers on Edgecam Software.
• Guide customers in toolpath creation, machining strategies, and process optimization.
• Troubleshoot customer queries on Edgecam Software usage, new version updates, and difficult part programming doubts.
• Provide installation support and ensure smooth setup of CAM software at customer sites.
• Ensure successful customer adoption of CAM software through ongoing support and guidance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education:
• Diploma in Mechanical/Automobiles/Mechatronics (with 5+ years experience).
• B.E. Mechanical/Automobiles/Mechatronics/Production (with 3+ years experience).
• Hands-on experience in CAM programming (Edgecam preferred, other CAM tools acceptable).
• Experience in 3D Modelling is preferred.
• Adequate knowledge of CNC Milling/Turning tool selection & process parameter optimization.
• Experience in Production CAM Programming is an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn Edgecam within 15 days if experienced in other CAM software.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
