As a Calibration In-Charge / Regional Calibration Head at our company managing 23 offices in the Ahmedabad region, your role will involve supervising calibration operations, managing lab teams, ensuring compliance with NABL & ISO standards, leading client audits, and maintaining calibration procedures and records across multiple locations. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior technicians, handling customer escalations, and coordinating with procurement, logistics, and administration. Your proficiency in Calibration and Instrumentation skills, strong laboratory skills, and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your attention to detail, analytical skills, and excellent documentation abilities will contribute to the success of our calibration operations. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise calibration operations across 23 locations near Ahmedabad - Manage lab teams and ensure smooth workflow, turnaround time, and quality - Ensure compliance with NABL, ISO/IEC 17025, and internal standards - Lead client audits and regulatory inspections - Maintain and update calibration procedures and records - Mentor and train junior technicians and engineers - Handle customer escalations and ensure client satisfaction - Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and administration - Proficiency in Calibration and Instrumentation skills - Strong Laboratory Skills and experience with Test Equipment - Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively - Attention to detail and strong analytical skills - Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Relevant technical certification or diploma is an advantage - Experience in a similar role or related field is preferred Requirements: - Bachelors/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation) - Minimum 5 years of experience in calibration (industrial, lab, or third-party) - Strong understanding of NABL documentation and lab compliance - Leadership experience in managing a team or multi-location operations - Familiarity with instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Pressure Gauges, Multimeters, etc. - Excellent organizational and communication skills Growth Ladder (Career Path in the Company): - Calibration In-Charge (Year 12): Leading 23 centers, supervising team, hands-on work + documentation - Regional Calibration Manager (Year 34): Overseeing 5+ centers, team development, major client handling, audits - Head Quality & Operations (Year 5+): Strategy, system improvement, leadership team, business expansion - Director Technical/Calibration Services: Business leadership, national-level operations, mentoring regional leads As a Calibration In-Charge / Regional Calibration Head at our company managing 23 offices in the Ahmedabad region, your role will involve supervising calibration operations, managing lab teams, ensuring compliance with NABL & ISO standards, leading client audits, and maintaining calibration procedures and records across multiple locations.
