Role Overview

Caf Operations Manager

setting up, streamlining, and scaling Kefilo's caf model

founding-level equity role

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Setup & Management:
• Lead day-to-day caf operations including procurement, staff management, and quality control.
• Develop SOPs for kitchen workflows, service standards, and hygiene protocols.
• Menu & Product Coordination:
• Collaborate with the Food Innovation & Nutrition team to execute wellness-driven menu items.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and nutrition standards.
• Vendor & Supply Chain:
• Identify and manage local vendors for ingredients, equipment, and logistics.
• Optimize procurement costs and ensure timely supplies.
• Customer Experience & Growth:
• Oversee caf ambiance, customer satisfaction, and feedback systems.
• Plan wellness-based experiences and community events at cafs.
• Expansion & Franchise Planning:
• Assist in developing scalable caf models for multiple cities.
• Support financial planning, performance analysis, and investor presentations.
  

Preferred Background

• 37 years of experience in F&B operations, caf management, or hospitality startups.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-handling skills.
• Passion for wellness, food innovation, and experiential retail.
• Experience in launching or scaling caf brands is a big plus.
