Job Description

Position: Road and Highway Draughtsman Experience : 5 to 10 Years Software: AutoCAD and MicroStation Job Location : Pan India Interview: Virtual Industry: Infrastructure, Highway design, Road Design Passport: Mandatory CAD Drafting: Creating detailed drawings for road and highway projects using CAD software like AutoCAD. Plan and Profile Preparation: Developing longitudinal and cross-sectional drawings for roads, highways, and related structures like bridges. Drawing Production: Preparing drawings for various aspects of road construction, including road layout, drainage, and other infrastructure elements. Interpretation of Designs: Understanding and interpreting engineering designs and specifications to create accurate drawings. Collaboration: Working with engineers and other team members to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards. Review and Revision: Reviewing drawings for accuracy and making necessary revisions based on feedback from engineers or other stakeholders. Adherence to Standards: Ensuring all drawings adhere to relevant building codes, industry standards, and project specifications. Required Skills: Proficiency in CAD Software: Strong skills in AutoCAD and potentially other CAD software relevant to civil engineering, such as MicroStation. Technical Drawing Skills: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate them into precise technical drawings. Knowledge of Road Design Principles: Understanding of road alignment, drainage, and other relevant civil engineering concepts. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with engineers and other team members. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to drawing production and design. Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial for producing high-quality drawings. Education and Experience: Typically requires a diploma or degree in civil engineering or a related field. Experience in road and highway design and drafting is essential. Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD software is a must. Specific experience in national highway and state projects may be required.
