CAD Designer Intern

Location: On‑site Employment Type: Full‑time (Monday to Saturday) Job Overview :A CAD Designer creates accurate 2D and 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.). You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the design is feasible, manufacturable, and meets industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and produce detailed 2D/3D CAD models and drawings in line with project specifications . Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, clients, and production teams to determine design requirements and refine drawings . Maintain and manage project documentation, including version control, drawing libraries, and bill of materials. Conduct design validation through simulations, feasibility studies, stress analysis, and real‑world testing feedback. Stay updated on CAD software versions, new tools, and industry standards/best practices randstad. Present design proposals and progress to stakeholders; gather and implement revisions. Participate in occasional site visits or prototype testing as required. Technical Skills Required: Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, CATIA, etc.) Skilled in dimensional accuracy, geometric tolerancing, and documentation. Experience with simulations or stress analysis tools a plus . Familiarity with materials, manufacturing methods, and relevant codes/regulations.
