B. Tech in Mechanical, or related field
Technical Skills
- Basic proficiency in CAD software such as: AutoCAD SolidWorks
- Ability to create 2D drawings (plans, layouts, sections)
- Basic 3D modeling and assemblies
- Understanding of engineering drawings, symbols, and notations
- Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and scales
- Basic understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
- Ability to prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) (basic level)
_ Drafting & Design Knowledge
_ Reading and interpreting mechanical/electrical drawings
- Knowledge of GD&T basics (advantage)
- Awareness of industry standards (ISO / BIS – basic level)
- Basic revision control and drawing documentation
- File management and version control of drawings
- Attention to detail, and Willingness to learn and take feedback
- Good communication skills, and Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
