Role & responsibilities

CAD Design Engineer

Position:

• Create and modify

  2D & 3D CAD designs

  as per project requirements.
• Prepare

  detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and assemblies

  .
• Work on

  design changes, optimization, and improvement activities

  .
• Ensure designs comply with

  engineering standards, quality, and safety norms

  .
• Coordinate with

  manufacturing, production, and quality teams

  .
• Prepare

  BOMs, tolerance analysis, and design documentation

  .
• Support

  prototype development, testing, and validation

  .

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with

  CAD tools

  such as

  AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or NX

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  GD&T and drawing standards (ISO / ASME)

  .
• Understanding of

  manufacturing processes

  (Machining, Sheet Metal, Injection Molding).
• Ability to interpret

  technical drawings and specifications

  .

Good to Have:

• Experience with

  PLM tools

  (Windchill, Teamcenter).
• Exposure to

  FEA / CAE tools

  .
• Industry experience in

  Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering

  .
