Responsibilities:

Design and development of
pultrusion machine structure
, pulling system, die holding frame, and resin bath assembly
CAD modeling (SolidWorks) of:
Pulling mechanism (belt / caterpillar / hydraulic-based concepts)
Heating die assembly
Fiber guiding and alignment systems
Material selection for:
Structural frame
Die materials
Wear and corrosion-resistant components
Perform
basic strength, stiffness, and thermal considerations
(hand calcs / FEA if applicable)
Design for
manufacturability, maintenance, and scalability
Support fabrication, assembly, and trial runs

Expected Skills / Exposure:

Machine design fundamentals
Manufacturing processes
Industrial machine layout & safety considerations
