About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in designing 3D models specifically for 3D printing applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CAD software (such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD) and an understanding of various 3D printing technologies and constraints. You will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models, optimizing designs for printability, and working closely with our engineering and product teams to turn concepts into reality.

Responsibilities

Create detailed 3D models and assemblies using CAD software, optimized for 3D printing.

Collaborate with engineers and product managers to develop functional and aesthetically appealing prototypes and products.

Optimize designs for manufacturability, printability, and minimal material usage.

Prepare technical drawings and documentation for production.

Troubleshoot design and print issues and revise models as needed.

Stay up-to-date with advancements in 3D printing technologies and materials.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field.

2-3 years of experience in 3D CAD modeling and design for additive manufacturing.

Proficiency in at least one professional CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, etc.).

Experience with 3D printing processes such as FDM, SLA, SLS.

Understanding of materials and post-processing in 3D printing.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and documentation skills.
