Job Title: CA Inter – NRI TaxationLocation: ErnakulamEmployment Type: Full-time Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated CA Inter professional with hands-on experience or keen interest in Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Taxation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian tax laws applicable to NRIs and be capable of handling tax planning, compliance, and advisory services for global clients. Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for NRIs. Provide tax advisory support related to Indian income, global income, DTAA, repatriation, and capital gains. Evaluate and advise on tax implications for property sale, investments, and other financial transactions by NRIs. Coordinate with clients to gather documentation and resolve tax queries. Support in responding to notices, assessments, or scrutiny cases from the Income Tax Department. Stay updated with recent amendments in tax laws, FEMA guidelines, and DTAA provisions. Prepare tax computation and working papers with proper documentation. Liaise with external consultants, CAs, or legal advisors as needed. Key Skills & Requirements:CA Inter qualified (Both Groups or Group 1 at minimum) 1–3 years of experience in Direct Taxation (experience in NRI taxation preferred) Working knowledge of Income Tax Act, FEMA, DTAA Familiarity with online ITR portals, TRACES, and income tax e-filing systems Proficiency in MS Excel and tax computation software Good communication skills, especially for client interaction Attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines Exposure to handling NRI clients across geographies (UAE, US, UK, etc.) Knowledge of TDS applicability on NRI transactions Understanding of taxation of capital gains on shares, property, mutual funds for NRIs.
