C++, QNX, Middleware & Automotive domain Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components in

  C++

  for QNX-based embedded systems.
• Work on

  middleware services

  , IPC mechanisms, and integration layers for in-vehicle systems (e.g., infotainment, ADAS, telematics).
• Optimize real-time performance and memory usage on embedded platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, system architects, and validation teams.
• Analyze system requirements and translate them into robust software designs.
• Debug and trace issues on QNX OS using tools like Momentics, QNX SDP, and log analyzers.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and automotive safety requirements (MISRA, ISO 26262).
• Participate in code reviews, system validation, and version control processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in

  C++ (11/14/17)

  , OOP, and STL.
• Hands-on experience with

  QNX Neutrino RTOS

  , including BSP, QNX SDP, and Momentics IDE.
• Experience developing or integrating

  middleware components

  (e.g., IPC, diagnostics, logging, event management).
• Good understanding of

  real-time systems

  ,

  multithreading

  , and

  inter-process communication

  .
• Automotive domain experience infotainment, ADAS, body electronics, or telematics.
• Familiarity with

  CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SOME/IP

  , or other automotive communication protocols.
• Working knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing frameworks (e.g., Google Test).
• Understanding of

  functional safety (ISO 26262)

  and

  MISRA C++ guidelines

  .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to

  AUTOSAR Adaptive or Classic

  platforms.
• Experience with

  ASIL-B/D

  software development and safety lifecycle.
• Knowledge of

  Linux

  or other embedded OSs in addition to QNX.
• Hands-on with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation or testing.
• Familiarity with Agile or ASPICE-compliant software development processes.
