C++ Developer Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable C++ code for various applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, testers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Debug and resolve technical issues, identify bottlenecks, and improve application performance.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in C++ and related technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in software development using C++.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience with C++11/14/17 standards and STL (Standard Template Library).
• Familiarity with multi-threading, concurrency, and memory management in C++.
• Knowledge of software development tools such as Git, Visual Studio, or similar IDEs.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cross-platform development (Linux).
• Knowledge of networking protocols, database integration, or GUI frameworks (e.g., Qt, Widgets).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and automated testing frameworks.
