As a C / C++ Developer with 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications in C. Your primary skills should include C/C++, Linux, and a keen understanding of secure programming practices. It will be crucial for you to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. In this role, you will need to implement secure programming practices, including rigorous input validation and buffer overflow protection. Utilizing tools like Valgrind and Code Sanitizer for code analysis and debugging will be essential to maintain the security and reliability of the software applications you develop. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing and optimizing Linux systems, including critical services such as SSH, Dovecot, Postfix, Apache, Nginx, Cron, and FTP. Your expertise in Linux kernel parameters and system limits will play a pivotal role in optimizing performance and stability. Version control using Git for collaborative development, database administration and optimization in MySQL/MariaDB, and designing robust network configurations will also be part of your responsibilities.
