C# - Automation Tester

Job Description

Key Perform manual testing of web applications to ensure the highest quality and functionality. Develop and execute automated tests using Playwright , Selenium , or Cypress for web-based applications. Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Create, maintain, and execute test cases based on project requirements and user stories. Report and track bugs using tools like JIRA , ensuring proper documentation of defects. Verify fixes, retest defects, and ensure they are resolved. Perform regression testing, integration testing, and functional testing as needed. Ensure applications meet quality standards, and highlight areas for improvement. Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Continuously improve testing processes and practices to increase efficiency and coverage. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in manual testing of web-based applications. Some experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Playwright , Selenium , Cypress ). Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies . Experience in writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git . Ability to troubleshoot and report software defects effectively. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA , TestRail , etc.). Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with Playwright for test automation. Knowledge of Cypress or Selenium automation frameworks. Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured . Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools. Understanding of performance and load testing.
