Business System Analyst

Summary:

The Business System Analyst (BSA) will be responsible for producing system requirements aligned with organizational standards and frameworks. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and manage both functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business, functional, and system requirements.
• Perform data analysis, root cause analysis, and impact assessments.
• Navigate and analyze ETL mappings using Informatica tools.
• Reverse engineer existing logic from Informatica mappings and recreate documentation.
• Create and maintain BSA artifacts including:
• Business Requirements Document (BRD)
• Functional Requirements Document (FRD)
• System Requirements Specification (SRS)
• Source to Target Mapping Documents (STTM)
• Ensure strong data mapping, lineage, and validation practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• Advanced SQL

  Strong hands-on experience.

• Informatica

  Ability to navigate and analyze ETL mappings (e.g., PowerCenter).

• Reverse Engineering

  – Experience in documenting and recreating logic from existing ETL processes.

• BSA Documentation

  – Proficiency in BRD, FRD, SRS, STTM.

• Data Analysis

  – Proven experience in root cause and impact analysis.

• Data Mapping & Validation

  – Strong understanding of data lineage and quality.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience working in Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of

  Azure Databricks

  and

  Azure Data Factory

  .
• Azure cloud experience or certification.
• Understanding of ETL concepts and cloud technologies.
