Business System Analyst

As a Business Systems Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leading analytics and reporting initiatives for our custom billing solution. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of billing operations, delivering actionable insights, and supporting the maintenance of the application's core logic. The ideal candidate will be adept at bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, utilizing data to drive operational excellence and strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with business/functional leads to comprehend the business process flows and source system dependencies, particularly SAP/SFDC. Additionally, you will assist in enhancing the primary logic of the custom billing application and work closely with the development team to implement new features and optimize existing functionalities based on business requirements. Your role will also involve providing input on application enhancements to enhance automation and efficiency. Analyzing billing data to derive insights, identify anomalies, and recommend improvements will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will be required to collect requirements and artifacts for data model design and implementation, as well as present findings and insights to cross-functional teams in a clear and concise manner. Furthermore, you will assist in incident resolution by investigating data issues and offering actionable insights, in addition to creating and maintaining user guides, reference manuals, and training materials as needed. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably focusing on billing systems or financial operations. Proficiency in reporting and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent, as well as strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis, are essential. You should also demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, coupled with outstanding communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines in a dynamic environment, and maintain a detail-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality results are key attributes for success in this role. This is a full-time contractual/temporary position with a contract length of 24 months, requiring 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
