Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that system solutions align with business needs and strategic goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between business users, product owners, and IT teams to elicit, refine, analyse, and document requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into system functionalities, workflows, use cases, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct system analysis, identify gaps, and propose solutions to optimize business processes.
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to validate solutions and ensure successful implementation, including creating and executing test cases in the internal business systems to ensure quality.
  • Support system integrations, data mapping, and API/interface requirements.
  • Develop process models, functional design documents, and system configuration guides.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to track requirements, project status, and business impact.
  • Assist in change management, training, and post-implementation support.

Mandatory Skills

  • 5-8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in IT services, consulting, or product-based environments.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and requirements management practices.
  • Understanding of system architecture, data flows, and integrations.
  • Understanding of basic Quality Assurance testing practices.
  • Experience in documenting business and functional specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to interrogate requirements for deep clarity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with ability to present to both business and technical audiences.
  • A strong desire to understand and contribute to organizational objectives, key performance indicators, and business processes

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), ERP, or CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of API integrations, data warehousing, and reporting solutions.
  • Domain expertise in business operations management.
  • Experience in documenting BRDs, FRDs, and process flows.
  • Certifications: CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA.
