Business Risk Senior Officer - SVP - PUNE

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Markets Model Risk and Control team, supporting the Head of Markets Model Risk and Control in overseeing and challenging Markets compliance with Citi Model Risk Management Policies and Procedures. Your role will require a combination of experience in model risk methodology, controls, assurance, and a knowledge of Markets. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary point of contact in Markets for the annual Legal Entity (LE) model inventory review process. - Develop a robust process to establish and maintain LE model inventories in relation to Markets models. - Develop a robust process to identify Strategically Important (SI) Markets models on LE level, including corresponding model user information. - Facilitate LE model attestations from Markets senior managers as required. - Liaise with Model Sponsors/Delegates of the SI models to extend existing model performance tests to the LEs. - Identify any changes to the LE model inventories and SI model populations during each annual refresh cycle. - Assist the Head of Markets Model Risk and Control with regulatory requests. - Drive standardized, consistent mechanisms and technology enhancements to evidence controls and supervision, and ensure alignment with longer-term infrastructure initiatives. - Manage deliverables in relation to model risk controls across multiple businesses, regions, and stakeholders. - Work with Second Line and Internal Audit colleagues to coordinate model remediation activity across Markets. Qualifications: - Strong understanding of model risk management practices, controls, and risks. - Excellent oral and written communications skills; the ability to explain complex topics to and influence the actions of non-specialist stakeholders. - Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization. - Self-starting with the ability to multitask and prioritize. - Project management and change capabilities are essential. - Capable of prioritizing and multitasking in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Ability to analyze a process and recommend ways to improve quality, controls, and efficiency. - Understanding of Markets businesses, functions, and controls is a plus. - Knowledge of artificial intelligence techniques and associated risks from their use would be beneficial.
