Design and develop data ETL routines to integrate data fromdisparate source systems into an integrated business intelligence environmentincluding defining source\-to\-target mappings, business rules and other requireddata transformations
Develop dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI,SSRS or other BI technologies.
Ensuring the quality of the data through utilization ofprocess and technology
Participation in actively formulating and maintaining both adata catalog and a data dictionary
Providing data marts and data lakes to support businessinitiatives
Conduct business analysis to define the required data tofulfill on business requirements
Meet with Customers to understand business problems andquestions, exploring options to model data driven platforms used for analyzinganswers
Become a trusted partner for Customers who translatesbusiness problems into analysis; then helps interpret the analysis intoactionable steps
Actively participate in the design, development, andmaintenance of complex BI Dashboards, Reports, Queries, and integratedapplications
Manage other resources to complete the development workneeded to deliver the required product to the client
Analyze and share results with users to ensure content meetsbusiness requirements; and train users to facilitate adoption and understandingof BI reports and tools
Proactively initiate projects and analysis targetingopportunities for revenue growth, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency
Provide technical support of the Microsoft Platform Software
Comprehensive data analysis and design experience, with fullknowledge of data warehouse & data mart methodologies as well analysismodeling
Lead solution and design sessions for end to end for dataintegration efforts
Deliver technical innovations in support of business growth;progressing ideas from concepts to full scale implementation with focus onflexibility, reuse, and overarching extensibility.
Qualifications:
5\-7+ years of experience in the Microsoft businessintelligence platform, including SQL Server databases, SQL Server IntegrationServices, Power BI\/SSRS & SSAS and\/or Azure Cloud Services
5\-7+ years of building and maintaining data integrationprocesses
5\-7+ years supporting large scale data integration and ETLprocesses including daily monitoring and operational support
Strong experience working in data warehouse architectures
Experience building formatted paginated reports using MSSSRS
Experience with PowerBI dashboard development or experiencewith one or more BI reporting tools like QlikView\/QlikSense, Tableau,Micro Strategy, Open Source reporting is a plus
Experience with the PowerBI Cloud Services
Significant experience in the design and development of dataintegration solutions and data analysis
Expert in automating data integration routines
Expert in optimization of data integration processing anddatabase design
Expertise in designing and developing dashboards, reports,analytics and data visualization solutions.
Experience in creating dimensional data models acrossmultiple subject areas is a plus
Strong command of MS Excel
Experience and familiarity with processes, platforms, andstakeholders
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent technical documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environmentwith minimum over sight. You would own building a future proof integrationarchitecture to solve integration needs across projects.
Balances a variety of competing goals in a design, includingproject time, scope and budget constraints, and system performance, messageverbosity, and loose coupling.
Optional:
Some experience with advanced analytics tools and languagessuch as R, Python, Scala, SAS, and others
1\-2+ years\experience working in a DevOps environment andunderstanding of the associated tools and capabilities, and value of using thisapproach
1\-2+ years of cloud\-based data platforms (such as Azure,AWS, Snowflake, \)
1\-2+ years using CI\/CD (continuous integration\ / continuousdeployment) methods for deployment
1\-2+ years using cloud data integration pipelines
Experience setting up and managing Power BI Report server isa plus.
Experience working in data lakes and reference dataenvironments
