Business Devlopment Manager

Purpose/Objective

Responsible for organizational growth through new plant addition in the respective region by identification and evaluation of partners for setting up new plants. Responsible for the end to end execution of new plant setup process from contract implementation, land agreements, etc. Responsible for performance monitoring of new plants.

Key Responsibilities of Role

1. Accountable for ensuring the health and safety of oneself, colleagues, vendor partners by complying with the company policies, procedures guidelines, rules and regulations of occupational health and safety at work. 2. Formulate and execute regional growth strategy as per company growth roadmap through market survey for new upcoming plants 3. Ensure updated market intelligence and survey to identify untapped growth opportunities, identification of vendors for setup of new plants and negotiate with them for plant setup 4. Continuous monitoring of upcoming projects to ensure on time plant startup 5. Ensure collaboration with group companies to cater to in-house RMC requirements 6. Maintain close connect with key accounts to set up captive plants 7. Maintain regular connect with plant vendors for contract implementation and resolution of issues / disputes related to reconciliation, escalation, etc. 8. Regularly monitor performance of new plants versus the business case.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential: MBA / B.Tech. Desirable/Preferable: Candidates with technical background preferred (B.Tech.) Total Years (Band) 10 – 15 Years (Relevant) 5 – 10 Seniority (desirable) At least 3 years at leadership level or must have led a function for 3 yrs Types of Organization MNC / Indian / Conglomerates / Entrepreneurial / Start-Up Types of Sector Ready Mix Concrete / Building Materials Variety of experience 8 - 10 years of experience in business development Qualitative aspects Must have exposure of managing business development of large or medium scale organization
