Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, connect with, and engage key stakeholders across road construction companies in India to drive new business opportunities.
  • Initiate, negotiate, and finalize

    MOUs, strategic partnerships, and collaboration agreements

    with contractors and allied firms.
  • Build, maintain, and expand a strong database of industry contacts, including decision-makers and influencers.
  • Represent the organization at

    industry forums, conferences, and networking events

    to enhance visibility and generate leads.
  • Track upcoming public and private road infrastructure projects and proactively position the company’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, legal, and operations) to ensure timely submission of proposals and execution of MOUs.
  • Stay updated on

    industry trends, government policies, and competitor activities

    to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Provide senior management with regular updates on

    sales forecasts, business pipeline, and strategic insights

    .
  • Leverage prior experience with

    ASH projects or allied sectors

    to explore adjacent growth opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum

    10 years of business development experience

    in infrastructure, road construction, or highways.
  • Proven success in

    negotiating and signing MOUs

    with mid to large-scale road contractors.
  • Established professional

    network/database of road construction companies

    and stakeholders across India.
  • Strong skills in

    communication, negotiation, and relationship management

    .
  • Ability and willingness to

    travel extensively

    across India.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly

    target-driven

    .
  • Exposure to

    ASH projects or allied sectors

    is a strong plus.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

    .
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Strategy

    preferred (not mandatory).
