Business Development Manager South Region (Domestic B2B)

Sales & Marketing

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Market Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across

  pharma, nutraceutical, food & beverage, and personal care

  industries in the South region.

• Achieve assigned

  sales revenue and growth targets

  for the region.

• Generate and convert qualified leads into long-term customers.

2. Key Account Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and distributors.

• Understand client needs, propose suitable product solutions, and ensure timely service.

• Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, Quality, Logistics) for samples, documentation, and order fulfillment.

3. Market Intelligence

• Track competitor activities, market trends, and emerging customer requirements.

• Provide regular feedback to the management and suggest strategies for product positioning.

4. Technical & Product Promotion

• Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and participation in trade exhibitions.

• Collaborate with the marketing team for region-specific campaigns and events.

5. Reporting & Coordination

• Maintain accurate customer data, sales pipeline, and visit reports in CRM.

• Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:

  B.Sc / M.Sc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, B.Pharmacy, or MBA in Marketing.

• Experience:

  Min 10 years of experience in

  B2B sales/business development

  of

  herbal extracts, nutraceutical ingredients, or related sectors

  (phytochemicals, natural ingredients, etc.).

• Preferred Background:

  Experience in handling customers in

  pharma, nutraceutical, ayurvedic,
