Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing the herbal extraction and processing operations at the Hassan facility of a leading manufacturer of premium herbal extracts. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with GMP, safety protocols, and quality standards while supervising daily production activities, coordinating workflow, and troubleshooting production issues. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise daily production activities and coordinate workflow - Ensure compliance with GMP, safety protocols, and quality standards - Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities - Train and mentor production staff on procedures and best practices - Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements - Coordinate with Quality Control for in-process testing and release - Maintain accurate production records and documentation - Participate in production planning and scheduling Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field - 4-6 years of experience in production, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role - Strong understanding of GMP and other regulatory requirements - Experience with extraction processes and production equipment - Knowledge of inventory management and production planning - Excellent leadership and team management skills - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Additional Details of the Company: Star Hi Herbs is a leading manufacturer of premium herbal extracts, probiotics, and nutraceutical solutions with state-of-the-art facilities in Bangalore and Hassan.
