Job Title : Business Development Manager Location : Varanasi & Prayagraj Role Type : Field Role (Involves daily travel), Mon-Sat Job Overview We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to identify and secure strategic commercial properties for new hotel openings in the assigned regions of Varanasi and Prayagraj. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the acquisition process, negotiating contracts, and fostering long-term business relationships to support the growth and profitability of OYO and its stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Identify and evaluate suitable commercial properties for new hotel openings in the assigned geography. Negotiate terms, commercial agreements, and scope of work, and finalize property acquisition deals. Collaborate with key partners such as property developers, landlords, project consultants, and property brokers to create mutually beneficial business plans. Oversee legal due diligence and manage paperwork involved in the signing and acquisition of properties. Coordinate internally with multiple departments throughout the property onboarding process to ensure smooth and timely launches. Assess operator performance and manage inventory to drive the contribution margin from the portfolio of signed properties. Maintain and expand a strong pipeline of growth opportunities through proactive relationship-building with owners and operators, focusing on both organic growth and acquisitions. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Monthly targets for number of rooms signed and made live. Contribution margin generated from signed properties. Required Skills Strong negotiation skills, particularly for large portfolio deals. Excellent analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts. Experience in proofreading and reviewing legal contracts. Who We Are Looking For At least 3 years of experience in franchise development, ideally in the QSR or hospitality industry. A track record of managing the full lifecycle of B2B client relationships, from onboarding to achieving business metrics.
