Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, guide, and manage a team of Business Development Executives.
  • Motivate the team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel 70 % at customer place self or with the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

• Identify potential clients through online research, cold calling, and field visits.

  • Initiate contact by sending introductory emails and follow-up communication.
  • Promote the companys products effectively by understanding client requirements.

3. Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Assist the team with joint field visits and provide on-the-job training.
  • Discussing the next week plan with sales team
  • Develop and maintain a list of potential clients and ensure systematic follow-up.
  • Prepare visit plans and reports for approval and share tour outcomes with seniors.

4. Reporting & Communication:

• Submit daily work reports and updates to senior management.

• Order forecasting and synchronising with Production team

  • Collaborate with seniors for product knowledge and strategic client visits.
  • Handle tasks and assignments delegated by senior leadership.

5. Market Intelligence & Product Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of chromatography techniques and applications
  • Extensive network at R & D, Business Development, executives and purchasing professionals, in the chromatography field with Agro, nutraceutical, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals industries
  • Keep updated on market trends and share insights with the team and management.
  • Refresh and enhance product knowledge through discussions and team interactions.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for product and service improvements.

6. Goal Achievement & Team Coordination:

  • Ensure timely achievement of team sales targets.
  • Work in harmony with other team members and support cross-functional collaboration.
  • Maintain a productive and professional work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree Science (Preferred Chemistry), Marketing, or a related field (MBA)

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in business development or sales

• Experience in managing a sales team is highly desirable

• Experience in industrial products or B2B sales is a plus
