Role: Business Development Manager Location: Gurugram (On-site) Company: Recyclify About the Role: Recyclify is seeking a dynamic and mature Business Development Manager to join our core team in Gurugram. This is a full-time, on-site role suited for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You will work directly with the founder and the founding team to drive revenue growth by managing key buyer accounts, closing deals sourced by the procurement team, and ensuring high-value returns. This role requires someone who’s not just good at sales - but is a strong negotiator, resourceful, confident in handling meetings, and passionate about learning how business works at a fundamental level. Key Responsibilities: Own and manage the buyer-side sales cycle - from lead qualification to negotiation and deal closure. Work closely with the procurement team to convert incoming supply leads into successful transactions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure repeat business. Negotiate pricing and terms to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. Actively engage in in-person client meetings and site visits as required. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and product teams to ensure smooth execution of deals. Identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts and explore potential new markets. Analyze market trends, pricing, and buyer behavior to inform sales strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 0.5 - 2 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development (experience in waste management or related industries is a plus). Excellent negotiation and communication skills - both verbal and written. Ability to interpret sales data, understand market dynamics, and make informed decisions. A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn how different business verticals work. Mature, professional demeanor with a genuine interest in sustainable business practices.
