The Role

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to build and own Homaira's network of architects, interior designers and premium clientele across India.

This is a relationship-led, field-driven role for someone who already understands the luxury furniture and interiors ecosystem — someone who knows how to approach architects, build genuine professional relationships, identify project opportunities, network with clients and turn those relationships into business.

You'll be responsible for building the pipeline from the ground up: identifying the right architects and design firms, initiating conversations, conducting meetings, building relationships, bringing architects and their clients to the Homaira studio, and working closely with our studio team to convert those opportunities into projects.

What You'll Do

• Build and own a strong pipeline of architects, interior designers and premium clientele across Delhi.
• Identify and prioritize target architects, interior design firms, design studios and potential clients based on project profile and business potential.
• Independently initiate relationships through cold outreach, referrals, networking, events, exhibitions and industry connections.
• Conduct a minimum of 2 meaningful architect/designer meetings per day, representing Homaira's design capabilities, bespoke furniture and in-house manufacturing strength.
• Build long-term relationships with architects and designers and position Homaira as a preferred furniture and interiors partner for their projects.
• Generate studio visits by bringing architects and their clients to the Homaira experience centre.
• Understand the architect's project requirements, client profile, design direction, timelines and commercial expectations, and communicate these effectively to the studio team.
• Work closely with the studio experience and sales team to convert visits and opportunities into projects.
• Develop relationships with HNI clients and generate business through personal networking, referrals and existing industry connections.
• Represent Homaira at architect meets, networking events, design exhibitions and industry gatherings, converting relevant connections into genuine business opportunities.
• Follow up consistently and nurture relationships even when there is no immediate project opportunity.
• Take ownership of the complete business development cycle — from first introduction to relationship building, studio visit and project opportunity — while working with the studio team for final conversion.

What We're Looking For

• 2–5+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales, preferably with a premium or luxury furniture, interiors, home décor or architectural products brand.
• Prior experience working with architects and interior designers is strongly preferred.
• Candidates from premium furniture brands, luxury interiors, modular kitchens, home décor or related design-led businesses will be preferred.
• A strong existing network of architects, interior designers and/or HNI clients will be a significant advantage.
• Strong understanding of how architects and designers work, how projects are sourced and what influences their vendor and furniture selections.
• Confident and articulate in face-to-face meetings with architects, designers and premium clientele.
• Well-presented, professional and comfortable representing a luxury brand.
• Strong commercial understanding with the ability to identify genuine project opportunities and take them forward.
• Willingness to travel across Delhi for meetings and networking.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
