Job Description

Trusty Coders is on the hunt for experienced and sharp-minded Business Development Managers (BDM) with a strong background in online bidding and client acquisition. If you’ve mastered the art of winning projects on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn, and know your way around web and software development services, you might be the perfect fit.

We’re expanding our sales team—this is a permanent, in-office role based in Mohali. We want pros who can jump in and start delivering from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hunt and acquire new projects on Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn, and other freelance platforms.
  • Draft custom, high-quality proposals that align with client needs.
  • Keep our profiles fresh, optimized, and professional to attract more leads.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and propose fitting solutions.
  • Work closely with the tech team to estimate deliverables and timelines.
  • Track performance of bidding efforts and adjust strategy as needed.
  • Maintain strong follow-ups and nurture long-term client relationships.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a bidding/business development role within an IT services company.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success on Upwork with completed projects and client reviews.
  • Working knowledge of:
  • Web & App Development
  • Laravel, ReactJS, Node.js
  • WordPress and CMS platforms
  • Ability to juggle multiple platforms independently without micromanagement.

Bonus Skills

  • Fiverr: Gig setup, client communication, order handling
  • LinkedIn: Sales Navigator, cold outreach, lead gen
  • Experience with Freelancer, PeoplePerHour, Guru is a plus
