Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform internet-based research of target segments to build/update and maintain a database of prospective clients
Make introductory cold calls and follow up calls to prospective Indian and/or international clients
Reach out to prospects via LinkedIn to set up meetings
Set-up sales calls with senior business development team members
Follow-up via emails and phone calls with prospects
Develop a strong sales pipeline through a mix of email and tele-sales activities
Create, maintain and update client prospective data in a CRM software
Follow up with leads on a regular basis
Meet and exceed targets for generating qualified leads on a regular basis

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in selling eLearning services and learning management systems in India and/or Middle East or other international markets will be preferred
Experience with selling IT software, cloud-based software, software subscriptions etc. in the domestic or international markets will also be considered
Must be driven, innovative with an attention to detail
Should have the nerves for cold calling and perseverance that is required for it
Should have the ability to understand target markets and personas
Should have knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other prospecting tools
Must be able to meet monthly and quarterly sales goals consistently
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Good phone etiquette
Must be willing to travel to meet domestic clients (if the need arises)

Note

Desirable:

MBA/ business degree would be an added advantage
A keen understanding of buyer behavior including the RFI/RFP route in B2B sales internationally would be helpful
Candidates with strong sales background in selling to corporate in India will be considered
