Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of

    4 years

    of experience in software business development roles, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and develop actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development:

a. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the software industry, including potential partnerships, alliances, and sales channels.

b. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market presence.

c. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

d. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and offerings that meet market demands.

e. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking activities.

2. Client Relationship Management:

a. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and objectives.

b. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on software solutions and services that align with their business goals.

c. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and exceed client expectations.

d. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing escalations as needed.

3. Sales and Negotiation:

a. Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.

b. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our software products and services

c. Negotiate terms and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties while maximizing revenue and profitability.

d. Track sales metrics and performance indicators, providing regular reports and insights to management.

4. Strategic Planning and Execution:

a. Develop and implement strategic business plans and initiatives to drive growth and market expansion.

b. Analyze market dynamics and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and product offerings.

c. Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape, adapting strategies accordingly.

Additional Requirement:

Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Flexibility to work across different time zones and accommodate occasional evening or weekend work.
