Job Description

proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE)

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and research potential corporate clients across industries.
  • Generate leads via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, site visits, and networking.
  • Maintain and update CRM tools, trackers, and lead databases.

2. Client Meetings & Presentations

  • Conduct meetings with HR, Admin, and Facility Managers to understand catering/pantry requirements.
  • Present services, USPs, and capabilities clearly.
  • Coordinate menu sampling sessions and site visits with the operations team.

3. Proposal, Negotiation & Closure

  • Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and service decks.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service scope.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and client handover.

4. Coordination With Internal Teams

  • Collaborate with Operations, Kitchen, Production, Cluster Managers, and Finance teams.
  • Share client expectations, timelines, and service details internally.

5. Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular touchpoints with existing clients.
  • Upsell services such as events, pantry management, and special packages.
  • Address client concerns quickly through internal coordination.

6. Revenue & Sales Targets

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Track conversion rates, lead progress, and sales KPIs.
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Business Development Head.

7. Market Research & Brand Growth

  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry shifts.
  • Participate in events, exhibitions, and networking sessions to promote the brand.

8. Field Sales

  • Conduct regular on-ground visits to corporate parks, business hubs, industrial areas, and coworking spaces.
  • Build relationships with admin teams, office managers, and HR heads.
  • Distribute brochures, service decks, and marketing material.
  • Capture competitor presence, client preferences, and office cluster patterns.
  • Maintain daily field reports including visits, conversations, new leads, and follow-ups.
  • Support on-site sampling, food stalls, and employee engagement events for conversions.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of corporate catering, B2B sales, or facility management (preferred).
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Strong follow-up discipline and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 4 7 years experience

    in B2B sales (corporate catering / F&B / facilities preferred).
  • Two-wheeler preferred for client visits.
