Role: Business Development Executive

Position Summary
Lead enterprise and government engagements for QpiAI AI products, driving high-value
deployments ($1M+) with Fortune 1000, AI-intensive organizations, and public sector institutions.
Structure technical partnerships solving complex challenges beyond conventional AI
applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify opportunities with complex AI challenges across enterprise and government sectors.
- Navigate distinct procurement processes: enterprise (IT, security, legal) and government (RFP/RFQ, compliance, policy).
- Structure multi-phase engagements from discovery to production with flexible pricing models: platform licensing, consumption-based, outcome-based, deployed engineering, hybrid.
- Conduct technical discovery on AI architecture, complexity, and scaling bottlenecks.
- Navigate & quote ;build vs. buy & quote; by demonstrating time-to-value, risk mitigation, and technical advantages.
- Address technical validation: architecture reviews, POCs, security/compliance assessments.
- Build relationships with enterprise (CXOs, Heads of AI/ML) and government stakeholders (ministries, defense, national labs).
- Partner with system integrators, AI consultancies, and hyperscalers.
- Develop industry-specific narratives: pharma/biotech, fintech, manufacturing, scientific computing, defense.
- Create technical case studies, reference architectures, and thought leadership content.
- Collaborate with sales on account planning and deal orchestration.
- Provide marketing with insights, competitive intelligence, and messaging refinement.
- Drive product/market feedback loop for GTM and product development.
- Co-present with QpiAI technical leaders at customer engineering reviews.
Required Experience
- Experience at AI/ML platform startups during 0?1 or 1?10 scaling phases.
- Track record of enterprise/government customer acquisition and high-value complex technical sales.
- Deep understanding of production ML systems, agent architectures, and AI adoption challenges.
- Knowledge of modern AI monetization: consumption-based, outcome-based, licensing, deployed engineering, hybrid models.
- Ability to engage in architecture discussions with ML engineers and researchers.
- Understanding of LLMs, agent systems, multi-modal AI, and enterprise deployment considerations.
- Experience navigating long sales cycles with multi-stakeholder procurement and technical validation.
- Technical depth balanced with business acumen and creative deal structuring.
- Consultative selling focused on problem discovery.
- Startup operator mindset: scrappy, resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

- Annual bookings across revenue streams and market segments.
- Qualified pipeline (enterprise + government).
