We are currently seeking a Business Consulting- Functional DB consultant to join our team in Pune, Mah r shtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

Primary skills: Domain-Capital Markets-Wealth Management is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

Working with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into database requirements.

Database Design and Implementation:

Designing and developing database schemas, data models, and database structures to support business processes.

Database Optimization and Tuning:

Improving database performance, efficiency, and scalability through optimization techniques.

Data Migration and Integration:

Developing and implementing strategies for migrating data between systems and integrating data from various sources.

Security and Access Control:

Ensuring the security and integrity of the database by implementing appropriate security measures and access controls.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Diagnosing and resolving database-related issues, providing support to end-users, and collaborating with technical teams.

Documentation and Training:

Creating and maintaining documentation related to database design, implementation, and usage, as well as providing training to users.

Collaboration:

Working with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless database integration with other systems.

Staying Current:

Keeping up-to-date with the latest database technologies, best practices, and security standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

Database Expertise:
Strong knowledge of database concepts, design principles, and various database systems (e.g., Oracle , SQL Server , PostgreSQL ).
SQL Proficiency:
Solid understanding of SQL and experience with writing complex queries.
Data Modeling:
Ability to create and interpret data models.
Business Acumen:
Understanding of business processes and how they relate to database design and implementation.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
Experience with Cloud Technologies:
Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS , Azure , Google Cloud ) is often preferred.
Project Management Skills:
Experience in managing database projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
