Position: Business Application Specialist
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy Business Application Support Specialist with hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate), Power BI, AI/ML technologies (namely OpenAI ,ChatGPT) and integrations with business applications. This role requires expertise in developing and supporting custom workflows, dashboards, and intelligent solutionsparticularly involving generative AI tools like custom GPTsto enhance productivity and business insights across the organization. The position will act as the IT liaison with the various Business Partners to ensure business needs, goals and objectives as related to their relevant business applications are accomplished.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Consult and support business stakeholders to develop and optimize service delivery and drive efficiency across the platform(s).
• Analyze existing features and designs for scalability and performance in order to design and recommend solutions to the business partners.
• Business Application Support:
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization for internal business applications.
• Serve as a liaison between business users and IT to ensure application functionality meets operational needs.
• Power Platform Development:
• Build and maintain workflows and applications using Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into low-code/no-code solutions.
• Data Visualization & Reporting:
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI with integrations to various data sources (ERP, CRM, Excel, databases, etc.).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across all reporting layers.
• System Integration:
• Work with APIs, connectors, and middleware to integrate Power Platform tools with third-party business applications (Salesforce, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, etc.).
• Automate data flow and synchronize key systems to support end-to-end business processes

CANDIDATES PROFILE
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of working experience/education preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in supporting business applications and their interfaces preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years developing and supporting the SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI), AI/ML solutions and other business applications preferred.

Position: Business Application Specialist
Technical Skills
• Proven experience developing and supporting SharePoint team sites, Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI, Power Pages) and Viva (Connections, Engage, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience creating and deploying GPT-based tools or similar AI/ML-powered solutions.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, integration tools, and cloud-based application ecosystems.
• Experience working Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, PowerBI, Teams, Planner, etc..
• Experience working with databases (e.g. MS SQL) is highly desirable with proven experience writing queries, reporting, etc..
• Experience working with various programming languages is desirable.
