As a Business Analyst at PhonePe Limited, you will play a crucial role in the pod strategy by defining critical metrics, monitoring performance trends, and influencing interventions based on performance. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the business and product functions to translate business problems into analytical problem statements. You will own the insight generation phase and conduct in-depth analysis to provide unbiased answers. Your ability to present evidence-backed insights will drive decisions within the team. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute individual thoughts on improving critical metrics, act as an analytics and visualization subject matter expert, and mentor other analysts in the team. Your role will also involve actively participating in the hiring process and onboarding new team members. To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum of 3 years of analytics experience in relevant roles, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and a curiosity for understanding how products work. Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, manipulating data from multiple sources for dashboarding and analysis, and working with big data sources is essential. Familiarity with Excel and visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and QlikView is required. Knowledge of data-analysis languages such as R and Python, as well as core statistical concepts, is expected. While experience in building ML models is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for explaining analysis findings effectively.
