Business Analyst

Role overview

Business analyst is responsible for gathering requirements for the overall eCommerce B2B solution encompassing products of SFCC B2B, Salsify PIM, Umbraco CMS, Tenovos DAM, SAP ERP, WMS/3PL, DMS, payment gateways, Tax application etc.

Will work with product owner, business stakeholders, Tech lead and scrum teams to groom product features, provide clarifications on use cases to the engineers and work on functional solution across applications mentioned above.

Role and Responsibilities

Understand the scope, gather requirements, features for overall solution, document the functional flows, DoR, DoD /acceptance criteria

Ensure the team is aligned with business goals

Establish and maintain cross-functional coordination.

Enhance the epics and user stories based on features needed by Product owner and business stakeholders

Explain user stories and tasks to engineers/developers and technical teams to progress on design, code/configure and test features developed

Liaise with business, IT and 3rd party teams to get clarifications on functionality involved

Support scrum master and product owner to get the epics, user stories written

Take complex real-world problems, understand and communicate them, and translate them into feasible solutions.

Required Skills

4+ years of experience as a business analyst.

Ability to lead and direct major cross-functional initiatives with effective prioritization and influence.

Strong understanding and experience of Product Roadmap, Backlog grooming

Able to respond/adapt to changing demands while tracing requirement changes

Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate business processes and opportunities into clear, precise, easy-to-read functional specifications.

Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally\

Ability to interact with different levels of business and IT stakeholders, being focused on getting functional decisions in timely manner.

Strong experience in using JIRA, confluence to update epics, user stores and tasks as per features given
