Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Management:

• Lead and facilitate workshops with stakeholders (including product owners, compliance, operations, and technology teams) to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new or enhanced financial products (e.g., loans, investments, trading platforms, digital banking features).
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable functional and non-functional specifications.
• Manage and prioritize the requirements backlog throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Product Lifecycle Support:

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Conduct market analysis, competitive research, and feasibility studies to support product decisions.
• Assist in defining the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and subsequent product iterations.

• Process Modeling & Analysis:

• Map and analyze current state processes and design future state processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Model business logic, data flows, and system interactions using appropriate tools and methodologies.

• Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the primary liaison between the business unit and the technology/development teams.
• Communicate changes, risks, and progress effectively to all levels of management and project teams.

• Testing & Implementation:

• Define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, ensuring solutions meet the defined business requirements.
• Support go-to-market activities, including training, documentation, and operational readiness.

Required Experience & Skills

• Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience

  as a Business Analyst, specifically in

  Financial Services

  (e.g., Banking, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, FinTech).
• Proven experience in the end-to-end

  product development lifecycle

  for a financial product.

• Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of financial systems, regulatory environments (e.g., KYC, AML, MiFID, etc., depending on product focus), and core banking/trading principles.
• Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is essential; experience in a scaled Agile environment is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (e.g., API specifications, data models).

• Soft Skills:

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus across different functional teams.
