Business Analyst - Payments Domain

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Payments / Transaction Banking domain to join our team. The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, working closely with stakeholders, and ensuring successful end-to-end implementation of payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, workshops, and BRDs.
• Manage requirements lifecycle from inception to delivery across the Banking & Financial domain.
• Conduct impact assessments on existing processes/functions based on new requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, SMEs, and Scrum teams to design scalable, global, and reusable solutions.
• Provide requirement walkthroughs and grooming sessions to development teams.
• Review functional specifications, test scenarios, and perform functional testing to ensure quality delivery.
• Partner with stakeholders across regions for end-to-end implementation and post-go-live support.
• Query databases using SQL and work with Oracle DB concepts.

Required Skills & Experience

• 48 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Payments / Transaction Banking / Channels.
• Hands-on experience with one or more payment products:
• Finastra / Fundtech Global Payplus (GPP Classic, GPP Fusion, GPP SP), Fiserv Dovetail, TCS BaNCS, Volante (VolPay), Bottomline, ACI MTS/RTPS, Temenos Payments Hub, SAP Payments
• Strong knowledge of ISO20022 standards and SWIFT MT messages.
• SQL proficiency with working knowledge of Oracle DB.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with requirements documentation, BRDs, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
