Fulltime

Business Analyst Funding Accounting (2+ years)

Domain expertise:
Minimum
3 years
as a BA in
Funding Accounting
within BFSIhandson with funding lifecycle (drawdowns, accruals, interest/amortization schedules, fee accounting),
GL postings
, reconciliations, period close, and exception management.
Requirements & documentation:
Proven ability to
elicit, analyze, and document
requirements; strong
BRD/FRD
writing skills with clear process maps, data dictionaries, nonfunctional requirements, and testable acceptance criteria.
Agile delivery:
Working knowledge of
Agile Scrum
—comfortable crafting
EPICs
and
User Stories (US)
, maintaining product backlog, and collaborating through sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews, retros).
Stakeholder management:
Partner with business, operations, finance, and technology teams to
prioritize
features, manage dependencies, and drive consensus; adept at translating regulatory/finance needs into implementable solutions.
Data & controls:
Strong analytical skills across
SQL/Excel
(or equivalent) to validate funding/accounting data, support
UAT
, design
controls/reconciliation
frameworks, and track
defects
to closure via JIRA/Confluence.
Compliance & quality:
Familiarity with
BFSI policies and accounting standards
(e.g., IFRS/IndAS concepts), risk & control requirements, and
SDLC
best practices—own traceability from requirements to test cases and production readiness.
